This is a really handy tool to help your family stay in touch with you whilst you're overseas and even help you remember the process yourself! Just insert your personal contact details or those of your family/friends in the spaces provided and voila! Problem solved.

Calling an international mobile

If you are calling from a landline, dial:

0011 (mobile number )

If you are calling from a mobile, dial:

+ (mobile number )

(Remember to type the + symbol for it to work. The + symbol is usually found on the mobile keypad. Generally it is on the ‘0' button or the button either side of it.)

Sending an SMS to an international mobile

If you're using Travel Sim, You can send unlimited FREE SMS's to a Travel Sim international mobile by going to the website:

www.travelsim.net.au

Scroll down to the bottom right hand corner of the webpage. There is a little box that says ‘FREE WEB SMS'.

Type in our international mobile number (mobile number ) (no spaces) and the rest of the information asked for in the box and when finished click the button at the bottom of the box that says ‘Send SMS'.

You can also send us an SMS using your mobile by dialing:

+ (mobile number ) (remember the + sign for it to work)

Calling an international landline (e.g. hotel)

Dial:

0011 + country code + phone number

(Please note that the country code is already included in the phone numbers for the hotels on the itinerary.)

On the homepage, and just below the large phone number search box, there is a smaller box that says ‘International Dialing Codes'. Select the country and press ‘Go'!
