Travel Insurance

Acquire travel insurance
Determine if additional/higher cover will be necessary for belongings or medical reasons

TIP If you have any medical conditions, ensure that it is covered by your travel insurance. If it is not covered in the standard policy, consider having it added as additional cover.

Also check the value that your luggage contents are covered for. For example, if you are taking over expensive belongings such as a fancy camera or jewellery, ensure that their replacement value is covered by the policy or if it will be necessary to increase your cover.
